How do I book a tattoo appointment at Lethe Tattoo?

Start with a free consultation. Request one through the appointment page on our website, call 646-398-8839, or email lethetattoonyc@gmail.com. After your consultation, a deposit reserves your tattoo session, and the deposit goes toward the total price of your tattoo.

Does Lethe Tattoo take walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome whenever an artist is available. We are located at 61 4th Avenue, Suite 201 (2nd floor), in the East Village, a short walk from Astor Place.

How old do I need to be to get a tattoo in New York?

You must be 18 or older to get tattooed, per New York State law. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID to your appointment.

What is the deposit and rescheduling policy?

A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and is applied to the final price of your tattoo. If you need to reschedule, give us at least 72 hours notice to keep your deposit.

What tattoo styles does Lethe Tattoo specialize in?

Lethe Tattoo is diverse in styles while specializing in dark art and Asian and Japanese-style tattoos. Gusti Negara specializes in Japanese and dark art oriental styles and has been tattooing since 2015. Philipus Murdijanto began tattooing in 2001 and works in dark art surrealism, illustration, black and grey realism portraiture, and neo-oriental styles.

How do I take care of a new tattoo?

For the first three days, gently wash the tattoo and apply a thin layer of moisturizer. From day 4 through week 3, keep it moisturized and avoid direct sun, swimming, and soaking.
